SNA Europe, owner of the Bahco tool brand, announced it will stop manufacturing at its plant in Santo Tomé, Santa Fe, and lay off 40 people due to a drop in demand. The company stated, 'This decision is necessary to adapt our operational model and ensure the business's sustainability in the current economic context.' According to Noticias Argentinas agency, production will be transferred to other group plants, and commercial activity will be concentrated in Santo Tomé. The company clarified that distribution, sales, and service operations will continue to function normally from Santo Tomé. The goal is to guarantee the supply of tools, storage solutions, accessories, and after-sales services throughout Argentina. SNA Europe employs 12,800 workers in 130 countries, with $820.5 million in net profits and $4,250 million in net sales. It offers a catalog of more than 24,000 products with 400 registered patents and over 20,000 distributors.
